The TCS Mini London Marathon in Schools is a nationwide event where children are challenged to complete a two-mile course at their school between April 22 and May 2, 2025.
This year, Joe Wicks is getting behind it to help inspire kids to move more, have fun, and feel amazing.
The TCS Mini London Marathon is an annual event designed to get children and young people moving. Schools across the UK can sign up to take part, encouraging all students to run, jog, walk, or wheel two miles within their school setting.
The event aims to inspire children to get moving together in a fun and accessible way. More than one million children have taken on the challenge since 2020.
Getting kids moving has so many benefits – from boosting mood and energy levels to improving concentration and overall wellbeing. It’s about more than just running – it’s about building confidence, resilience, and a love for being active.
The event is open to all schools in the UK, meaning any pupil can get involved. It’s completely free, making it a great opportunity for schools to get the children involved in fitness, teamwork, and a positive challenge.
Signing up is super simple. Schools can register online via the TCS Mini London Marathon website. Once registered, they’ll receive all the information needed to get started, including resources to help motivate students and track their progress.
